Conscious Construction

Welcome to Our Health Spa

With this new building, we aim to offer health-conscious services and constructed an environmentally responsible building to align with our mission.

When you step into The Health Spa we want your experience to feel different. Since the inception of this concept, we made sure our choices in building construction, materials and finishes were environmentally conscious and chemically free any chance we could.

This intention started before any of the building was framed.

The substructure was poured over a bed of crystals to influence well-being, with many of 2×4’s providing essential support marked with positive affirmations and inspirations. As you walk around The Health Spa, you might even notice some gemstones polished into the concrete floor too.  Each stone was chosen specifically for the room it was placed and exposed as a constant reminder that all decisions in construction practices, building materials and final finishes was intentional to provide the highest quality healing environment for our patients.

ICF Concrete Construction
Superior insulation and exceptional strength not only enhances sound dampening but also offers protection against natural disasters such as tornadoes and fires.

Chemical-Free Cleaning
Minimizes environmental pollution and reducing potential health risks associated with exposure to harsh chemicals while offering a safer and more sustainable cleaning solution.

Heated Floor System
Network of heated pipes provide radiant heat which naturally rises over time to also heat the second level loft.

Cork Flooring
Sustainable, durable, and naturally resistant to mold and mildew, providing a comfortable and eco-friendly space.

Concrete Flooring
Industrial-style look without the need to add manufactured overlay cuts down on non-essential building materials and waste.

Heated Sidewalk Entrances
Prevents ice and snow accumulation without the need for environmentally damaging salt and enhances safety by reducing the risk of slips and falls.

NO VOC Paint
Reduces indoor air pollution and minimizes health risks associated with traditional paints by emitting fewer harmful chemicals into the air.

Zone Controlled HVAC
Reduces energy consumption while optimizing comfort by allowing individualized temperature control in different areas (or zones) of a building.

Water Purification & Filtration
Ensures removal of impurities and contaminants, providing cleaner and healthier water while also reducing reliance on single-use plastic bottles.

High Efficiency Windows
Minimizes heat loss during winter and heat gain during summer therefore enhancing comfort while reducing environmental impact.

Air Purifiers
Removes airborne pollutants such as dust and pollen, thereby improving indoor air quality and promoting better respiratory health.

Reusable Towels
Minimizes environmental impact and waste by reducing reliance on single-use paper towels.

High Efficiency Lighting
Reduces electricity consumption while also decreasing carbon emissions associated with energy production.

High Efficiency Appliances
Reduces electricity consumption while  contributing to environmental sustainability by decreasing carbon emissions associated with energy production.

Plants & Greenery
Serve as natural air purifiers by absorbing harmful pollutants such as carbon dioxide thereby improving indoor air quality and promoting a healthier environment.

A Shoe-Free Experience
Reduces the amount of outdoor contaminants that enter the space provide a clean and chemical-safe space for all of our patients.
